Mr. Dedy Kurniadi, S.H., M.H., AIIArb. is Founder and Managing Partner of Dedy Kurniadi & Co Lawyers, a firm that established and based in Jakarta, Indonesia, since 2001.
He has expertise in intellectual property law, restructuring and bankruptcy, and Indonesian agrarian/ land law. As a renowned litigator, Dedy is also a seasoned lawyer who has experience in Indonesian law since 1997 and also a pioneer of and entertainment lawyer in Indonesia since the 2000s: both representing a number of entertainers as well as handling entertainment law issues in Indonesia.
Dedy graduated as a Bachelor of Law (Sarjana Hukum) from the University of North Sumatera (Universitas Sumatera Utara/ USU) in 1995. He also graduated as a Master of Law (Magister Hukum) from the University of Indonesia in 2005, focusing his master thesis on copyright law, entitled “The Copyright Protection of TV Format Programme (Perlindungan Hak Cipta atas Format Program Televisi).” He took several professional courses throughout his career, namely Bankruptcy Courses (Pendidikan Hukum Kepailitan), Competition Law Courses (Pendidikan Hukum Persaingan Usaha), IP Consultant Course (Pendidikan Konsultan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual), and other numerous IP-related short courses held by Singapore IP Academy. From his master thesis, he wrote a book, “Perlindungan Hak Cipta atas Format Program Televisi” in 2005.
Since 2006, Dedy has been an IP consultant who has experience in handling intellectual law issues, especially related to the trademark and copyright protections, and the settlement of copyright disputes. Dedy was also a member of Supervisory Commission (Komisi Pengawas) of Perhimpunan Advokat Indonesia (DPN Peradi/ Indonesian Advocates Association) from 2017 to 2023, a member of The Indonesian Intellectual Property Attorneys Association (Asosiasi Konsultan Hukum Kekayaan Intelektual Indonesia) and served as a member of Continuing Legal Education Department of the Indonesian Intellectual Property Attorneys Association from 2009 to 2013. Furthermore, He was a Secretary General of AKPI (Asosiasi Kurator dan Pengurus Indonesia) from 2019 to 2022. He also became a Visiting Lecturer for the Masters Program at the Jakarta Institute of Arts. Currently, He is serving as Secretary of the Honorary Council (Dewan Kehormatan) of AKPI for the 2022-2025 period.

Mr. Dr. Danu Febrianto, S.H., M.H. is the Partner of Dedy Kurniadi & Co Lawyers. He is a licensed Indonesian advocate and member of the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi).
Danu obtained his law degree from Sriwijaya University, master in law from Indonesia University, and doctorate in law from Sriwijaya University.
Practicing law as in-house lawyer since 1993 in listed commercial banks, Danu has wide range experience regarding legal, governance, regulatory compliance and corporate matters in banking sector. Danu later diversified his experience by joining the Indonesia Deposit Insurance Corporation (LPS), a government institution as authority in deposit insurance and bank resolution, from 2012 to 2026 with strategic position not only in legal directorate but also in policy, human resources and finance directorate. During his professional career at LPS, Danu was involved in drafting legislation in the financial sector, including law on banking, law on prevention and handling of financial crises, and law on development and strengthening of the financial sector.
Combining experience from both the private and public sectors, Danu has a unique blend of strategic, high-level thinking and practical, results-driven action.
Danu also obtained certification in risk management (BSMR) and audit committee practices (CACP), and certified as liquidator (CLI), legal auditor (CLA), and mediator (CMed) as well.

Aby specialist in commercial litigation, bankruptcy and arbitration. He has a broad range of experiences in handling complex litigation cases, including investment disputes, shareholders litigation, agrarian disputes, tort and breaches of contract, cross-border enforcement, debt actions and securities claims. He also acted on a number of debts restructuring matters either from creditor or debtor point of interest.
